Today marks the 10 year anniversary of PS2 being released in America.
I have many fond memories of the Playstation 2. I remember coming home as a kid and seeing my parent's randomly went out and bought one. What a fantastic day. However, my first PS2 game was this crappy racing game called "Supercar Street Challenge"
I got Vice City for Christmas, and stayed up all night playing it. Was I old enough to play it? Nope. But my parent's knew I wasn't one of those "LOLOLOLOL WHERE'S THE RESET BUTTON?" kids. I remember staying up super late with friends on those cold winter nights playing games like MGS2, FFX, TM: Black, Tony Hawk's Underground, Red Faction, Half life, Bloody Roar, etc. etc.
It's a fantastic console with such a huge library of games, anyone can find something they like on the PS2. The last PS2 game to be released is just around the corner. The end of an era.
PS2, I salute you!
