As I sit here, play a little SNES and decide to listen to my Super Castlevania IV soundtrack I often think of the good ol' days where gaming was so simple. No one cared about which system had better graphics, sound, etc. etc. Gaming was just simply, gaming.
Sure, you had some kids who talked smack about the SNES that owned the Genesis, but it didn't compare to PS3 vs 360 Fanboy talks of today.
You didn't have multiplayer, wide screen HD, Surround sound, patches, and controllers were simple.
You could pop a copy of Super Mario RPG into your SNES and be set.
I'm just feeling extremely Nostalgic right now, and just miss the simple days.
