Nintendo And The Garage Developer

I honestly think that everybody took what Reggie and Iwata said at GDC this year way wrong.  When Nintendo said that they didn't want "garage developers" I do not think they were refering to the guys who made Angry Birds, World of Goo and all of those great cheap fun games that you would find on IOS.  Rather, I think that they were talking about guys who make cheap $1 games like a fart app to make a quick buck on the hard to search Apple setup.

If Nintendo really did think that this was the case, why would Angry Birds be coming to 3DS?  Nintendo has said, and they should feel this way, that the cheap indie games are a threat.  And why shouldn't they be?  Something like Angry Birds sold a lot of copies for a super cheap price and was worth every penny - that will make it hard to sell a $40 dollar monkey ball game that's for sure.  If Nintendo can get that e-shop running with apps like that alongside their normal 3DS games, I think they would have a great system for everybody.
