What Gives!?

Lately it just seems the industry is taking a collective dump on Wii U.

Batman: Arkham Origins decided to take out the multiplayer because there aren't enough people to play multiplayer - which is stupid because of course there isn't when you wont give them multiplayer.

Splinter Cell Blacklist also took out local multiplayer - even though it could have been awesome having the TV screen and Gamepad act for 2 player split.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution for some reason costs much more for the Wii U version of it's remake.

Injustice for Wii U not getting the DLC right away like the rest and that whole thing being a huge mess in general for all the extra characters.  Also not being a part of the Double XP events.

Lets not forget the whole Rayman thing (which is the only thing on this list that actually makes sense to me)

But it's weird right?  I guess it's sort of a catch 22, but if nobody even tries to put the effort in, why would they think the audience will show up?  Granted that could mean they either don't care enough to want another system to worry about, or they just don't want to worry about it until maybe 360 and PS3 are gone - who knows.  By pulling these features and giving lame excuses (yeah, I'm thinking of EA as well on this one with their whole "our engines can't run on Wii U but can run on 360 crap) there will never be a need to get a Wii U version for any third party game.  And while I think it's great that Nintendo is out there saying it's their problem to fix by creating fantastic 1st party support (which for some reason only Nintendo has to do while Microsoft puts out much less 1st party software (Sony does pretty good on that)), third parties are creating this problem by making crap ports for a system they feel is cheaping them out.

I dunno, it's just so weird to me seeing how things are getting treated for Wii U.  I get that there is costs involved and you don't want to shell out for stuff on a system you know wont sell you as many copies of your game, but why would you think it will ever gain any ground if you keep making a worse version of the game with cut content?
