I've been getting rather upset with all the negative reviews of Crackdown 2. It has been getting plagued with "No Story" complaints. Well, in my opinion, the game is more of an arcade experience similar to a Schmup. Crackdown 2 is a game that you can get online with a couple of friends and and quickly breeze through the campaign. In the first game I was able to go through the game in roughly two hours with a friend, and that's when I had the most fun with it. The only other thing I would have liked to see put in the game would be a speed run leaderboard. There could be 4 leaderboards, one for 1, 2, 3, and 4 players.
I definitely agree with you here. Both Crackdown games are all about being an arcade experience. They are all about dropping into a world, messin' around and having fun with buddies. I will say that by myself, I didn't have too much fun with the game but thought it was fun with friends. It's really not any different from playing something like castle crashers or turtles in time its just a different style game in that kind of category. My only complaint is that they are charging full price for a game they did not change. A small discount would have been nice, but all in all, yeah I agree, it's all about just dropping in and having fun. Oh and also about the 4 man leaderboards. that's one of the best things about four swords and the like.
