I recently got lucky and got into the LBP2 beta for the Playstation 3 from Joystiq
I've been playing it non stop, and I'm very impressed. Some levels that people have already made have blown my mind. I've seen Kart racing levels, asteroid levels, levels that play to the beat of music, etc. etc. You are no longer restriced to 2D levels. You can make whatever you want.
The jumping has been improved 100% I feel like I can control Sackboy now with no problems. I don't float around in LB2 anymore. The graphics look the same, and you can even play LB1 levels in LB2 when it comes out! I'm just wondering if the DLC will be compatible. That's my burning question. I don't want to lose my MGS pack.
I was able to dress up as a Ghostbuster from my Character pack from LB1 and I was pleased to see that, so maybe there is hope for DLC support for the full release.
I'm definitely excited to get the game when it launches Move support, and Mouse/Keyboard! LB2 will be astounding and I'm counting down the days.
