I've played and beaten Silent hill 2 countless times before, and it's been years since I last played it and the other day I bought Silent Hill 2 Greatest hits for the Ps2 and I gotta tell you. It STILL scares me. The overall atmosphere and look to the game is just straight up scary. The music is haunting, the enemies are creepy, and the story is dark. I'm working on beating the game again and only play at night, so I can get the full affect, but nothing gives me chills more than this siren that you hear in the game. It's so haunting sounding.

Dude, the siren! Holy crap! One the first of every month at noon the city of Grand Haven tests their emergency air sirens and when I hear them going off, Silent Hill is all I can think of.
